Setting Up PulseAim

Step 1: Package Contents

Ensure you have the following items:

  • 1x PulseAim camera
  • 1x PulseAim 10x monocular
  • 1x Tripod
  • 1x AimSync Sensor
  • 10x PulseAim target paper

Step 2: Assembly

  • Mount the camera to the monocular by coupling them together via their magnetic ends.
  • Mount the monocular to the tripod.
  • Mount the AimSync sensor on your trigger finger, trigger guard, or other securable spot on your weapon using the provided silicon strap.

Step 3: Software Setup

  • Use your phone (with 4GB RAM minimum) or iPad/tablet to download the PulseAim App.
  • Open the PulseAim App.

Step 4: Target Setup

Hang a PulseAim paper target at a minimum of 7 yards or meters away, with a cardboard backing.

Step 5: Camera and Sensor Setup

  • Point the camera at the target.
  • Pair the camera with the App.
  • Pair the AimSync with the App.
  • You should now see the target on your mobile screen.

Step 6: AimSync Sensitivity Setup

Set the Sensitivity level for AimSync:

  • For .22 caliber or dry fire, try 4/1/1/1
  • For 9mm caliber or higher ammo, start with 7/1/1/1
Important: Setting the correct sensitivity is crucial for registering all shots. If the sensitivity is incorrect, even if shots are fired, no score will be calculated.

You should now see the target on your mobile screen.

Step 7: Target Calibration

  • Use the distance adjuster in the app to zoom in or out, so the whole target is within the target screen on the app.
  • Once the AR target and physical target overlay each other, adjust the knob on top of the monocular to adjust clarity.
  • When clear, the app will take you to the Session stage.

Ready to Use

Now, when you fire a shot onto the PulseAim paper Target, you will see the score appear right away on the mobile screen.
